May - Coldwater Car Show
Mother’s Day Weekend
See more than 1,600 cars, including more than 100 show-quality cycles at the annual Coldwater Car Show at the Branch County Fairgrounds. More than 300 vendors attend as well including Swap and Arts & Crafts.
May - Civil War Days
Memorial Day Weekend
Join in a weekend of living history complete with Civil War Battle Re-enactments, Sutlers and a period dance. Spectators can take part in a Civil War Church Service, ride the Steam Engine Train and chat with President Lincoln. Demonstrations and encampments fill this holiday weekend in Coldwater.
June - Strawberry Festival
Third Saturday in June
Pies and shortcake, and anything the mind can dream of strawberries in Downtown Coldwater during this sweet event. In addition, crafter’s offer handmade candles, jewelry, yard ornaments, furniture and more during the Strawberry Festival.
July - Polish Festival
Third weekend in July
Bronson kicks off three days with fireworks and an opening ceremony complete with door prizes and the crowning of Polish royalty. Polish food and music, a parade and a Polish wedding reception keep visitors entertained. Shop the crafts show, enjoy the talent show, car show and save room for the pancake breakfast. Fishing, Bingo and sports tournaments fill the weekend with events for the entire family.
July - Kites Over Branch County
Third weekend in July
Kites fill the air in Coldwater during this annual fly and competition. Celebrating more than 6 years of family fun, this event is a great opportunity to bring a lawn chair, sit back and relax while watching the kites dance to music. Check out the windless kit fly demonstration, night lit kite flights and more!
July - Remember the Alamo

Do you remember when the Alamo was the cruise-in spot to be? The Alamo may be long gone, but the cruisers are still here! More than 500 cars annually enjoy this cruise. Rumble on US-12 and park throughout downtown to see the classic cars up close. Stay downtown to enjoy the entertainment, including live music, throughout the day.
July - Magic Festival
First full-week in July
Magic is in the air in Colon. Magic fills the streets, restaurants and shops. Magic is everywhere during this celebration. Talent contests, lectures, close-up shows, ladies events, crafts and a Magic Minister’s Session!
August - Old 27 Motor Tour
Third week in August
Join hundreds of classic cars to tour the nostalgic Old 27. The week-long journey kicks off in Coldwater and heads north. Scheduled stops along the way include Lansing, St. Johns, Ithaca, St. Louis, Clare, Harrison, Grayling, Gaylord and ending in Cheboygan.
September - Apple Fest
Third Saturday in September
