Annually on Memorial Weekend
Come to Coldwater Michigan and experience life during the Civil War annually Memorial Weekend. Complete with military and civilian camps, Civil War battles, demonstrations, period crafters, Sutlers and more. Ride our steam engine train with President and Mrs. Lincoln. Join the festivities and enjoy battle re-enactments, Fry Pan Toss, Hit Taking and more. Tibbits Summer Theatre
Today Tibbits is busy year round. Professional summer stock and children's theatre draw large summer crowds. Winter events include concerts, Community Theatre, Christmas shows, recitals, children's theatre, and professional productions. Work from area artists is an ongoing exhibit. 517-278-6029

Branch County Fair
1st Full Week in August
The Branch County 4-H Fair draws in thousands annually. Farm animals, crafts, carnival rides and fair food are abundant resources at the fair. A Demolition Derby, Combine Derby, Mud Bogs, Truck & Tractor Pulls and Car Soccer round out the week. (517) 278-5367.

Along U.S. 12 Heritage Trail
This annual event is set for the second weekend in August...along the Historical Heritage US 12 route…all 212 miles. Along U.S. 12 Heritage Trail from New Buffalo to Detroit, Michigan. Each year this event draws more and more as individuals and families discover all the wonderful treasurers found as they drive along the route.

Old 27 Tour
Coldwater to Cheboygan

Calling all car enthusiasts…Cruise the open road of old U.S. 27 for 5 wonderful and fun filled days. Cruises of Coldwater Country are mapped out for this fun event. Goody bags, door prizes and lots of fun await you in Coldwater. The tour starts in Coldwater on Tuesday and finishes in Cheboygan, Michigan on Saturday. Pick up your passbook and rev up your engines in Coldwater Wednesday morning for a light breakfast and the start of the cruise. (517) 881- 2329.
Saturday 1-Week Before Labor Day

Remember the Alamo
Last Saturday in July
Do you remember when the Alamo was the cruise-in spot to be? The Alamo is long gone, but the cruisers are still here! This cruise brings in over 500 cars annually. These classic cars rumble on U.S. 12 and park throughout the downtown so you can see them up close. Music entertainment usually include at least 2 live bands. (517) 279-6902
1st Saturday in December
The tour meanders through the Victorian Bed & Breakfast's in Coldwater and private homes. The homes are beautifully decorated and are enjoyed by young and old alike. The Wassail offers homemade treats and spiced cidar.
