See ice carvers carving over 30 blocks of ice will be carved in different downtown Coldwater locations. In addition to the ice carvings, there will be a Chili Tasting Competition featuring downtown restaurant/pubs. There will be lots of activities for the kids throughout the community. Come downtown and watch the carvers, enjoy meeting up with friends, family and others in the community on what hopefully will be a bright and chilly January day. The Quincy Chain of Lakes Tip-Up Festival invites you to the Festival located on Marble Lake since the late 1950’s! Michigan’s Longest Antiques, Collectibles and Treasurers Sale
This annual event is set for the second weekend in August...along the Historical Heritage US 12 route…all 212 miles. Along U.S. 12 Heritage Trail from New Buffalo to Detroit, Michigan. Each year this event draws more and more as individuals and families discover all the wonderful treasurers found as they drive along the route. Over 20 years ago this event has been on Coldwater Lake, bringing participants from all over the country. Despite its title men, women and children compete by swimming 300 yards, biking 6 miles and running 3 miles to the finish line. Annually a week before Labor Day.
The tour meanders through the Victorian Bed & Breakfast's in Coldwater and private homes. The homes are decked out for the holidays and are enjoyed by young and old alike. The Wassail offers homemade treats and spiced cidar.
