Come to Coldwater Michigan and experience life during the Civil War annually Memorial Weekend. Complete with military and civilian camps, Civil War battles, demonstrations, period crafters, Sutlers and more.  Ride our steam engine train with President and Mrs. Lincoln.  Join the festivities and enjoy battle re-enactments, Fry Pan Toss, Hit Taking and more.  Walk the Cemetery Tours with living “ghost soldiers” telling their stories and find out where "Old Sam" is buried. See ice carvers carving over 30 blocks of ice that will be carved in different downtown Coldwater locations. In addition to the ice carvings, there will be a Chili Tasting Competition highlighting downtown restaurant & pubs.  There will be lots of activities for the kids throughout the community.  Come downtown and watch the carvers, enjoy meeting up with friends, family and others in the community on what hopefully will be a bright and chilly January day.  The festival runs from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (517) 279-6902.

Polish Festival

This 3-day event kicks off annually with fireworks and an opening ceremony, complete with door prizes and crowning of Polish Royalty.  Polish food and music, a parade, a Polish wedding reception, crafts, talent show, car show, pancake breakfast, fishing tournament, truck pulls, Bingo and sports tournaments fill this weekend with events for the whole family.  (517) 369-7334

The Quincy Chain of Lakes Tip-Up Festival invites you to the Festival located on Marble Lake since the late 1950’s! The festival offers family fun for everyone from snowmobile and quad racing to fishing contests for adults and kids to wood cutting contests, tug-o-war pulls and a corn hole tournament as well as special games just for kids!  The pavilion will hold a craft show and great eats for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Calling all car enthusiasts…Cruise the open road of old U.S. 27 for 5 wonderful and fun filled days.  Cruises of Coldwater Country are mapped out for this fun event.  Goody bags, door prizes and lots of fun await you in Coldwater.  The tour starts in Coldwater on Tuesday and finishes in Cheboygan, Michigan on Saturday.  Pick up your passbook and rev up your engines in Coldwater Wednesday morning for a light breakfast and the start of the cruise. This is an annual Mother’s Day weekend event held at the Branch County Fairgrounds in Coldwater, Mi.  We have the largest show in the area with up to 1,600 Show Cars, over 100 Show Quality Cycles, over 300 Vendors including Swap and Arts & Crafts plus over 10,000 spectators yearly. Cruise through downtown Coldwater is Saturday beginning at 4pm.
